Silk Tassel is a large vigorous, evergreen tree/shrub/bush with dark green foliage. From winter it displays breath-taking long tassels that can reach 30cm long. Garrya can reach a height and width of 8x8m if untrained or un clipped. It can handle most soils, but will grow best in well-drained, fertile soil in full sun or partial shade. It can also live in coastal conditions.
