Yuzu dwarf lemon is a prized citrus believed to have originated in Eastern China, but nowadays, it is associated with Japanese cuisines.
It resembles a lemon, with thick lumpy yellow skin, but has the shape of an orange. Yuzu grows in an upright shrub or small tree, which commonly has many large thorns. It is highly fragrant and keeps it’s tart flavour after it’s been cooked. Suitable for most Australian states due to its excellent cold tolerance.
