Hello Hello Plants is Melbourne’s busiest plant sales outlet with the biggest range of plants on sale of any nursery outlet. We have a team of 30 staff, very diverse in terms of age, skills and nationality at heart. It is a family business with a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. In the current economic conditions where some nurseries are cutting staff and reducing production, we are expanding. This is due to our creative marketing, our enormous range of plants, FREE delivery over most of Victoria and our FREE garden design service. And Chris, the guy in the pink tutu and the founder of Hello Hello Plants, needs help.

The Nursery Yard Manager oversees the daily operations of the nursery yard, ensuring the efficient handling, maintenance, and dispatch of plants and products. The role involves managing incoming stock, supervising unloading and placement, and maintaining plants in top health and presentation.
Key responsibilities include preparing and loading customer orders, coordinating yard staff and workflow, and keeping the nursery organized and customer-ready. Working closely with the sales and logistics teams, the Yard Manager ensures timely, accurate order fulfillment and a high standard of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, hands-on experience in plant handling and maintenance, and a proactive focus on efficiency, quality, and safety.
The Logistics Manager oversees all delivery and distribution operations for the retail nursery, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely transport of plants and products from production to retail outlets and customers.
Responsibilities include planning and optimizing delivery schedules, managing drivers and transport staff, maintaining vehicle compliance, and ensuring plants are handled with care. The role requires strong coordination with sales, production, and customer service teams to align logistics with seasonal and business demands.
The ideal candidate will have proven organizational and leadership skills, experience in logistics or transport (preferably in horticulture or perishable goods), and a proactive approach to improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Hello Hello Plants specialises in selling bulk. Lots of plants for garden lots, landscaping and farmers. We need capable, hardworking sales staff with a love of sales, plants and helping people with their gardens. Once you learn to sell, we have very generous bonus structure and you will find this a challenging and rewarding job.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Friendly and customer-focused attitude. Passionate about and knowledgeable in plants.
If you love great customer service and you want to ensure our customers get this service, this job involves liaising with customers and order fulfillment staff and ensuring best possible outcome for customers.
Requirements: Outgoing, creative person with computer skills, interest in plants and or gardening.
Need friendly, outgoing driver with medium rigid license, competent with manual truck, good computer skills, happy to hand load.
Requirements: Must be physically fit. Must be able to count plants and note on paperwork. Full-time work available.
If you have experience running a small team, doing any type of horticultural production and are good at operating different types of machinery and meeting production.
Requirements: Must be able to work in Shepparton and able to run a small crew to maintain and dispatch potted plants.
