Callistemon violaceus

The Violet Bottle brush is an evergreen, native shrub that produces yellow tipped purple bottle brushes in mid to late spring and summer. They are hardy shrubs which will withstand at least moderate frost and which flower best in a sunny position. Mature growth is around 2-3m tall.
Similar cultivars include ‘Purple Splendour’, ‘Purple Cloud’ and ‘Mauve Mist’.
