Syringa vulgaris ‘Congo’ Lilac
‘Congo’ lilacs are a rich dark purple coloured flower with a wonderful scent. They make a colourful feature plant or garden filler and can even be grown in pots.
Lilacs prefer full sun to part shade position in well drained soil with a slightly alkaline pH. They grow anywhere between 2 to 4 metres tall, but can be trimmed to suit your needs.
