This plant serves as a poignant symbol of remembrance for those who have served, especially on Anzac Day, when sprigs are worn to honour their sacrifice. Sales of sprigs support the planting and restoration of memorial avenues lined with honour trees. In terms of cultivation, Gallipoli rosemary is a resilient and compact herb that makes an excellent choice for hedges, borders, or container gardening, although it may not be the best option for culinary use. It is low maintenance, drought-tolerant, and grows well in full sun to semi-shade. Pruning after flowering helps to maintain shape and prevent woodiness.
